The Clover Creek Invitational and IMAC Challenge will be held September 2-4, 2016, Labor Day Weekend. This contest will be a traditional IMAC contest and a separate Four (4) Minute Free Style event with a cash prize. The contestant may participate in either contest or both contests; IMAC membership is not required for the Free Style portion, but Greatly Appreciated!
The IMAC portion of the event will be limited to a combined total of 40 pilots Basic through Unlimited.
The Free Style event will be limited to a 35 pilot invitation.
(NOTE: see invitation requirements below)
The IMAC contest will fly 6 sequences or 3 rounds with the traditional Sunday UNKnown. Free Style will also fly 6 sequences, but with a seven pilot elimination each round after the second round. The planned Free Style round drop will be:
Friday - 3 Freestyle Rounds Saturday - 2 IMAC Round 1 Free Style Round Sunday - IMAC UNKnown, IMAC Known, 2 Free Style Round
The Free Style Pilot drop will be determined by:
1st drop from 35 to 28 The BEST of rounds 1 and 2 Normalized Contest 1
2nd Drop from 28 to 21 Contest 1 plus Round 3 Normalized Contest 2
3rd Drop from 21 to 14 Contest 1 & 2 plus Round 4 Normalized Contest 3
4th Drop from 14 to 7 Contest 1, 2, & 3 Plus Round 5 Normalized Contest 4
Final 7 A Clean Slate / New Contest The Winner is?
For the IMAC contest portion – the 2015-2016 AMA Scale Aerobatic Rules and 2016 IMAC Contest Guide shall apply, attached below.
For the Free Style the 2015-2016 AMA Scale Aerobatic Rules paragraphs 6, 7, 8.2, 10.3, & 17, attached below. Winglets, if used, must be consistent with the size, shape, design, and curvature of the full scale manned aircraft (pictures and dimensions shall be required prior to the first flight), and the size limited to 10% of scale. Let’s keep it scale J

Awards:
IMAC & Free Style Grand Champion Trophy
IMAC Traditional 1st, 2nd, & 3rd
Free Style Tiered dollar amount based on percentage of the Free Style gross
(EXAMPLE – If 35 Pilots – 1st > $1200, 2nd > $775, 3rd > $590, 4th > $425, 5th > $390, 6th > $195, 7th > $150)
Sponsor donations shall increase this example significantly!

- Send us a brief BIO with Name, Address, Email, Phone Number, with how you placed in the above events to [email protected].
- If you did not participate in one of the above events send us a resume with a 2 minute (minimum) video of your Free Style routine to [email protected].
- All Request need to be summited NO LATER THAN Jun 15, 2016
- The CCA Invitational Committee will review all request, rank the proposed participants, and announce the 35 invitees by June 30, 2016
